Adventures in Babysitting

My november multichoice story was somewhat popular, so I thought I would do another -and bigger- one this month. By the way, this is also a milestone for the blog, for it's out 300th post.

Someone made me notice that I've never made a story about a babysitting scenario (thus, I'm marking this as a request). That's, quite odd, so I'm bringing a babysitter to our blog: yourself.

This time, the story is really based on your choice. Bellow, you'll find five little girls. Chose the one you want to babysit and follow her story! You can (and should) look what the others are about, but you're stuck in the situation of your first choice! You'll notices most of them end on a somewhat open way. But it's your story, after all, so you may pick up what follows!

And please, comment. I think interactive stories are good for that. Which storyline did you chose? Are you pleased with your decision? Which one is your favourite, even if you didn't pick that one? And share what happens afterwards in your version of the story.

  1. I choose Gemma Sherman which was a great route. But my favorites by far were Claire Sachs and Megan Walters because they both dealt with a lot of the aftermath of the transformation, not to mention the mental and emotional effects.

This was an awesome followup to your first multiple choice story. I'm not sure if its possible but if you could make one that was more interconnected it would be a borderline visual novel which honestly sounds pretty amazing.

    1. You have the same favorites than I do!

Yes, I like to do complex projects, but I'm limited by the picture availability, o I don't know how much more intricate could I do one.

  2. I chose Claire Sachs initially, and that path way was fabulous. The last line was particularity great, I love irony.

Of the rest, there honestly wasn't one I disliked. Megan Walters was interesting and had great descriptions, and Gemma Sherman had a great personality for the girl that made the sequence of events fun to envision. Danielle Petrovic was great because it was happy ending to a bad situation, and I really enjoyed Anna Gray because I'd never seen anything like it before.

In the end, my favorite probably was Claire, just solely because of that last line. All of them were fantastic, they're so close it was hard to pick just one.

    1. I almost didn't put that last line in the Claire story!

Glad you could find something enjoyable in every one. I was afraid to make them all too similar, but I think they're distinct enough.

  3. I initially chose Gemma Sherman, both because I though she was the cutest of the initial pictures and because I was the most curious to see how she would grow up (I think the glasses had something to do with it. Given that she was my initial choice, I was a bit taken aback that she's a bit vindictive and "steals" your age - but I do like that you included one story like that, and it's not your fault that that turned out to be "my" story. :P

I think Claire Sachs was my favourite, not because of the last line, but because of the main scenario. I do like role reversal stories (part of why I liked that a story like Gemma's was in there somewhere), and I'd been hoping that there'd be one where the girl becomes your mother instead of just your sitter. And it was clever to use The Reversion to accomplish that. Plus, I think hers had some of the hottest pictures. ;)

Loved it all in all. Great work, and I hope you keep doing multichoice stories from time to time. :D

    1. Originally, I was thinking about doing a multichoice story called "Babysitting the Age-Stealers", where every choice had a different girl stealing your age by different means.

But that was not very much like me. My stories are generally more good-natured and much less vidictive than most (with the possible exception of Using the Medallion, at least that I can remember), so generally my characters have happy endings.

So I decided that only one of the choices would steal your age intentionally, and yes, bummer it was yours XD

Again, another who who prefered Claire. I had no idea she would be that popular! At first, I wasn't sure about using The Reversion in a thing like this, but I see it was a good idea.

Also, careful with how you talk about Miss Sachs. She's the mother of some of your fellow readers :P

      And thanks!

    2. I would have loved to see "Babysitting the Age-Stealers." Maybe you could have made a couple of the scenarios less vindicative, perhaps one be by accident, one girl be punished with regression after the swap, one where someone else iniaties the age swap and both you and the girl didn't want it to occur. And you could have a couple that were sterotypical vindicative charges using spells and blue mist etc.

Honestly, as much as I loved this post, I think I would have liked that one more had it been posted. Just a little thought from me. Love your work either way.

    3. Thanks.

I don't know. When I was writting, I was feeling these scenarios more. Maybe in the future, but my next multichoice will be very different.

  4. Am I alone in thinking my favorite was Anna?

    1. Nobody else has mentioned her. She was the last one I did. I wasn't too sure about that one, but in the end I was satisfied.

  5. I now you are good but this whole post buy me for a long time! For me Gemma Sherman was the perfect story! Great to see that you make some interactive stories! Well done, my friend! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to work with you again! ;)

  6. I chose Anna to start, but my personal favorite was Danielle.
Well, aside from that final pic, but that's more of a personal preference thing--I've never liked eye shadow that thick. The story itself was my favorite of the bunch, however.

    1. I think Danielle looks gorgeous in that final pic, but as you say, it's a matter of personal preference. Glad you liked the story, it seemed interesting to me when I wrote it.

  7. I can't say I'm particularly pleased with my choice of Gemma Sherman (only because of RPing, the story was great). My favorite story was Danielle Petrovic, it was great to see that happy ending. After the role swap, everything changed for me. I went from the older brother of two sisters to the younger brother of three. Our families are close, so between that and the mental change, I suppose I'm handling thus well. I still recoil when my "new father" kisses me. Speaking of mental changes, school isn't that much easier the second time around, though luckily I was a smart kid at this age. This morning, I realized something. If we switched roles, that means I must have access to Gemma's spell book. All I need to do is find it, and I can get back to adulthood. Wish me luck!
